Thread: Fencer ot swordsman?

I am currently making a PvE build and am wondering wether swordsman or fencer is better. all input is appreciated. thnx

swordsmen is most definatly the better PvE prof and is probably the best PvE prof in the whole game
but if yuo plan to PvP mostly with a little PvE on the side, fencer is better
but if yuo plan to PvP mostly with a little PvE on the side, fencer is better

Swordsman is better for PvE simply because of the AP2 blast and AP2 kinetic weapons. Fencers get way more defense (swordsman gets like 5 melee defense), but deal out a lot more damage to armored targets.

Why not do noth and get the best of both worlds? A whole lot of offense and a whole lot of defense.

swordsmen is by far the best pve prof my defese stacking mate (pre nerf) could take 6 or so crazed geos at a time with easy he was master fencer master pistoleer. i'm master doc master swordsman my record is 20 at a time and that was easy 2 brandy's and a couple of canape's and area 3. thing about swordsman is pvp though. i went from tkm /doc to swordsman /doc and in one on one duels swordsman is great i can beat fencers tkm's (with knockdown deffood) and some range profs (carbinner, pistoleer ocasionly rifleman) but in wide scale pvp were prettycrap, 80% comp is the armour du jour on farstar and that messes up a scythe, and melee mitigation buggers up ph's cause of the wide range of the weapon, not to metion the poor range mods on hammers. but i would recomend swordsman/fencer for pve/pvp cause the defence will make swordsman great you get all the states from fencer which you can lay on a target b4 switching to a ph and with the states on the target will be pretty easy to smash with a hammer. once i get my alt up in doc i'm dropping it to get fencer swordsman pretty much cause it makes little difference in pvp whether your a doc or not with all the stun weapons banding around so with my alt going from meat collecter surveyer to buff bot i think fencer/swordsman will be a great prof collaberation.
