Thread: Lets get this right. Its Dual not Duel.

Dual meaning two. Duel meaning to challenge or fight someone.


I dont want to be the grammar police but its not that hard to spell this right.



I look forward to Dual wielding, I remember my rogue from NWN very fondly. I also look forward to fighting in many more duels once i get my skill level in fencing up higher.


And it will be intersting to test Dual wielding in duels i hope they allow more of us to copy our live characters to test center so we can test this.

I'm so glad that you said it and not me. I thought for sure I was going to have to add a Webster's dictionary link here soon.

It's a good point to raise. Better to clear it up now before we actually get dual weapons-- if people start asking "What are the best duel weapons?," we will always have to either read the whole post to see it in context, or if it's still unclear, we'll have to ask, "Do you mean the best weapon to use in a duel, or the best pair of weapons to use?" We don't need to go through that over and over again.

There's even a dev that makes this mistake.

seriously, you must have a vendetta against people with dyslexia.


i do however agree that having a dual duel with dual-wielding duelers while dual-wielding would indeed be a pretty site.
