Hey everyone,

I'm soon going to be at Novice Fencer and I'm wondering: What, if anything, should I have in my offhand (the hand without my sword). Can anything go there? A weapon? A shield of some sort?

Just wondering, because I want to be using my left hand if I can use it for something.

not in this game...sry

well, dual-wielding swords has yet to come to Star Wars Galaxies, but it may in the future. don't know when for sure though.

so it is just one sword in one hand for now. hate to break that to you.

Not even some food or some sort of buff or SOMETHING? I just find it odd that I can't have anything in my offhand. In that case why wouldn't I just go two-handed (aside from the different skills of Fencer and their defensive abilities).

Dual Wield sure will be nice though.

because u picked fencer, you picked defense over offense. fencers didnt use shields

No Fencers don't use shields but I'm working on a design for a light weight armguard/shield that can be used in counterballenceing moves to block/parry.

Imagine a series of interlocking plates extended from the shoulder down over the fingertips.

I'm shooting for10 pounds overall weight.
