Fencer Archive
Thread: I might be crazy but...
Nope.
I rarely, if ever PvP. I went with fencer simply because it was the concept I had for the character. When PvP does come up, I tend to hang out and take out the opposing non-combatants like the healers or rely on the handy-dandy AT-ST to divert attention away from me.
I went to a PvP imp assault on Anchorhead last night and got bored after about 10 minutes. I died pretty quickly because it was a mass assault and all the ranged people such as rifleman pick on me because of my master fencer title and then just kite instead of facing me. I think that will be the last time i ever do mass PvP. I mainly just PvE with a master swordsman friend, i tank and keep them occupied while he takes them out.

You guys should try raiding places by yourself or with a friend. As an imp, i like going to coronet solo and trying to take out as many rebs as i can. I find its actually a lot of fun, and I almost never die without gaining a couple hundred fp

I do this in Theed and Bestine. Good PvP is a lot more exciting than PvE. There's just something about fighting "real" people. But pulling an AT-ST is not PvP. It's the most lame tactic in PvP right now (besides being a CM). Not too many people pull At-St's on Kettemoor very often for PvP. And if they do it's probably a noob.
One thing I really don't understand about the PVP is all the trash-talkin. I fought a guy the other night in Anchorhead. He won, and before he gave me the deathblow he felt the need to inform me that I was lucky that I lasted as long as I did, that he was on the phone and wasn't really paying attention to the game, otherwise I would have died much more quickly. Um, I thought, ok, how nice for you.
