Pistoleer is what I'm workin on. I want to be able to dodge any possible attack. Would that be a good template? Mainly, I want to be able to come out successful if i'm sittting there with a tef and an over rebel tries to prove him/herself by shooting me in a cantina while i listen to the music. Thats all the combat I want. Otherwise, I'm a roleplayer

I am not flaming but...if that is all the combat you want why are you trying to outbid me on the SB?

Haha well i've been outbid myself .... but I'm always looking for the best weapons, even though I might never use em ... sort of acollectors thing,
but please, feel free to answer my question on this post ................

I think dodging would only work while you are holding a pistol.
If you hold a sword, the dodging bonus won't be applied to you... am I wrong ?

I found the answer in another thread, saying that dodge works if you weild a 1H melee weapon too.

I am a master fecner/pistoleer and it is a very nice combo from a defensive point of view. Fighting as fencer is a bit better due to the center of being. But the Pistoleer gives you nice damage types. I have been very successful versus many opponents, but the most difficult professions to deal with are the rifleman and swordsman, the mind dmg is hard to protect against. But remember to but your pistol and sword in the hotbar so that you can switch easily between them (intimidation and center of being only works with the fencer weapon). I also picked up smuggler feign death to help in those nasty situations when you are unprepared and need to get out of the fight. If you cna pick up some intimidation defense from carbineer it will help you alot too, as intimidation cripples your defenses.
