Thread: Got insulted bad on ahazi about fencer.

Get this, I just finished a 4hr run on endor with my friends, (Aspiring tka/master commando, and my other friend who is master BH, working on artisan.) I am a master Doctor, and 1/2/1/1 fencer. Anyway, They had to leave and I was still wanting to fight. So I went to the mission terminals and there as two people there getting ready to leave. I asked if I could join one was very polite and was like sure man. I offered them a buff they already had one, and then as I was asking which monsters to pick this guys friend spews:
Mal?
Yes?
Fencer's Suck **edit**.
No they don't.
His friend says, excuse him he is a **edit**.
He says, yeah they do, they do **edit** for damage.
I say, it is about speed with a fencer.
He says yeah right,a 2-handed swords man gets the same speed bonuses and can hit for more damage. **edit**ing newb.
I retorted with, that it is not like it is a game where I might have fun being a fencer.
He says yeah it is a game that is fun when you own not get owned.
I said I don't get owned thanks.
His friend says, sorry he is an **edit**.
I said, and I am sorry I can't be around someone like that.
Then more, comments about how I am a newb.
Is this rare or common? Do you get many a-holes like this? Also, is fencer worthless?? I have heard nothing but GOOD things from the fencers I buff.

Nothing like a good bleed to make a idiot like that re-think whether a profession is effective. Nothing like a little COB to make his high damage hits worthless. LoL

Don't take the following in the wrong way: You need to assure him that you do suck. That's what I do - most of the time they can't tell if I am being sarcastic or not. The child was obviously a powergamer, and those are exactlythe kinds of people we DON'T want realizing how powerful fencer has become lately. Snuff pride and do the class a favor, by making sure people like that aren't using our weapons or posting on our forum.

Malovec, you should just ignore them and just type "lol, it does" haha, I have get that before they beefed up fencer, but what? I like this class, I like 1 hand sword fighting.
I do hate some of the fencers though, those fencer bandwagoners just sickens me
I still believe that fencer is a profession with class.
Anyway, welcome to the Ahazi Fencer group.

let's just keep people thinking fencer sucks, so we won't get nerfed, and the prof won't be full of noobs or other "uber-template-owns'anything-in-the-game" kind of guyz.
just two days ago we just shouted in front of coro's starport how fencer su**ed (my buddy was blademaster, I'm fencer 1333) and TKA "rulez".
if I meet a guy like that, I say:
"yea, fencer suc*s but my holo said to master fencer, don't you have a macro, by any chance ?"
and I just run away

With Master Doctor, you can just tell them to **** out of your way and solo in Endor It's so easy to hunt kinetic-damage-type animals if you have high kinetic ubese armour with you.

eh, fencer is great... let the 1337 dude be ignorant. he probably got beaten by a few too many fencers and just being bitter.

Fencers do not suck. I'm a 4/4/0/4 BH on Kett, and I've had duels and PvP with Fencers where they just hand me my a$$.
It seems to me that he is the newb!!!... or hasn't ever fought a fencer. Has this moron even tried hitting a fencer with a ranged weapon? I think not... most folks miss 9 out of 10 times, I don't care how accurate they are.
