Thread: I know not of This Rantok Sword you Speak Of

i got this shiny certification and it never really occured to me that I've never seen one since I've played SWG, are they like how the Scythes used to be for swordsman? Maybe they suck so much weaponsmiths refuse to produce them? Maybe I missed something? Do they exist yes/no?

o ok thanks, are stats any good? and do weaponsmiths even have a schematic for it?

The stats aren't great and there is no schematic for it, although if it was player made it could be pretty good as the stats while not great are good for a looted weapon.

The Jabba mission is currently the only way to get the Rantok sword. Jabba will send you to get a 'trophy' as the last quest in the Jabba theme park. That trophy is the Rantok. In order to keep the Rantok for yourself place it in your backpack (or bank, just dont keep it in your base inventory) before returning to Jabba. Take the mission over again (as if you failed it the first time) and go get a second Rantok. If you would like a few of them to decorate your house (currently all they are good for) do this a few times. Once you have as many as you'd like return to Jabba with one Rantok in your base inventory to complete the theme park. I got one a couple weeks ago but I just put it in my bank and haven't touched it since. Some people think the Rantok is one of the coolest looking weapons in the game even though the stats make it not worth using. I wasn't really impressed with the look, but it's a decent collectors piece. Good luck.

Before all the mobs went TK the geonosiansfought withRantoks when they switched to melee attacks.
