Thread: Limits on One-handed SEA's

I was wondering if there was any information on what the limits are on the one-handed seas. For example I know that if your a Master Rifleman you can get up to +10 Rifle Speed in SEA's before you are maxed out. So what is it with Fener?

The limit is +25 no matter what the skill is I think, where'd you come up with that number for rifle speed?

Just whatIve been told over andover again, It maxes out at that.


SEA = Skill enhancing attachment

i believe what you are confusing is the attachments themselves are max +10, but the max bonus you can get is +25.

+25 is the hard cap you can get from any (one, or total number of) attachments. So, Having that +89 inj/wound from all that bio gear, wasted guys, +25 is all that counts.



Now, what your asking (i think) is your saying Rifleman max's speed with +10 above the master. Yep thats cool. Fencer max's at footwork 4 for everything except scatter hit, that max's at Master.



So, 1h +Speed attachments are a complete waste, ONCE your master, however getting TO master, a +10 would be a huge help, until oyur footwork 4, then its a waste. No, you dont use scatterhit in PvE, well not a smart fencer, high mind cost

Here put it like this, say I hit master....will SEA's add a bonus which will make me better? or am I already maxed out on speed, accuracy and what not.

Anyone do any testing with those one handed dmg mod skill tapes? I was thinking on getting a few.

Attachments don't stop at +10, some are as high as +25. I have a tape for carbine aiming +21 (dropped by a nightsister elder).


Dark Jedi Masters used to drop +25 stuff back in the day. They still might, but I'm not about to go after them.

I think what Vincentarasin is saying is that, yes, you can get another +25 in total skill attachments for speed, but at master they are useless because the natural mods from fencer itself cap out the speed.


In other words, you can hit that nitrobutton at master all you want, but you aint squeezin nothing else out of it. They will only help on the trip up to master, but once you get to master, they no longer benefit you. Redline, baby.

I have an excessive amount of SEAs, if u get an an extra +25 speed, its said to allow you to hit twice as fast with gaffis, which is untrue, atleast with me. Onehanded melee damage does nothing, not a damn thing... I have a +85, no difference.. For the accuracy ones, with an additional +70, I do not hit anything more or less... Also the evasion, counterattack ones do not work now, but may work later... However, any and all dodge ones are pure gold, I have a +65 in dodge, I thought it was capp'ed at 25 but it doesnt seem that way.. Ive been testing this stuff since I reached master but that doesnt mean I havnt made a mistake..

Fencer Speed will cap at Footwork 4 ( cause of 1 second per attack cap )

Acuracy you can never have enough of so + 25

Toughness + 25


Skill tapes of "Onehand counter attack" or Onhand Evasion are worthless


Bleed +25


Damage +25
