I see everyone praising Master Brawler to couple with Master Fencer to get lung 2 and warcry 2. Are these skills more for PvP or are they just as essential for PvE?

Any help will be appreciated.

welll put it this way. If you delay a mob for 20sec then it will probably be dead before the delay ends (and definatly if you have Kd from TKA)

At first I thought master brawler was a silly thing to aquire and a waste of skill points. But, having most of the xp laying around anyways and enough skill points I figured I'd get the badge and master it. I soon after took fencer and started on my daily routine of slaugtering animals and their children for sport and their sweet sweet meat. Eventually I came across a lair, a horrible horrible lair of quenkers and they all jumped me. Being rather desperate at the time I fumbled for any skills I could use to get myself out of this situation and I eventually clicked warcry2. I delayed three quenkers for 20 seconds and this saved my life while I ran like the wind. Learning from this I started testing these new skills out a little. Intimidate 2 turned out to be godly, completely mitigating melee damage enemies do to you. Warcry 2 as forementioned is a lifesaver, and spectacular for both offense and "defence" (read: running away). Lunge 2, wow. Just wow. Warcry 2 and lunge 2 put together knocks an oppenent down and leaves him unable to get up for 20 seconds, allowing you to beat the crap out of him with much haste. Mixed with dizzy, it puts any humanoid opponent down for good. Thus and therefor Master Brawler is Awesome and I would Never EVER want to imagine being a melee fighter without it.

You dont need it for PVE.

Depending on what other professions you've Mastered with Fencer; you may find it useful in PVP

Im a wookie and master brawler saves my butt a hell of a lot when i hunt with my jedi friend on endor i go with him so he can take out merek and arcana lairs. Man when 6 or 7 mereks surround u when 2 have la and 75 kinetic i just go around the circle INT 2 them all and go to work with cob and spin attack 2 and im nearly untouchable the only thing that ets me is when i get poisoned 23 times in a row yes 23 i counted the combat log cause it was sucha long spam.

Lunge2 is your killing blow to those creatures that get up and run when their health gets low.

"whats that fella, wanna run? Try my 25meter knockdown out for size" gets 'em everytime =]

Actually with Mobs their is a nice thing you can do with Lunge 2 and Warcry 2. Lunge 2=KD and Warcry 2 wont allow them to get up for 20 seconds so you get a major bonus to damage, this very usefull but Master Brawler isnt really essential for a Fencer who is looking to mainly PVE.
