Thread: awesome tooth powered curved sword-check this out

Okay a few days ago i found some VERY nice rancor teeth at a vendor that were about 16-116 damage and .456 speed or so and not that high HAM. Very nice wound too. So i asked my guild weaponsmith what i should do with them and so i made a 1 handed curved sword.
So i made the sword and it turned out great. He got about 4 amazing successes and 2 slices of 30% for damage.
The best one i got looked like stats about this:
45-317 damage
3.7 speed
50% wound
0 ideal range modifiers
36/34/40 HAM
With a compensation generic power up which is about 32% mind 16% max damage, the damage goes up to 327 and mind clost down to 27.
What do you guys think about the result?

SWEET!!!!
I had a couple swords made last night from my best teeth and they turned out only slightly better than the normal ones. Like 179 max before slicing. That didn't go too well either. Mine hit for speed of course and the other thatI had made for another fencerhit for 20% damage. Neitherone turned out better than what I could go buy right now.
Kinda sad that Master Smuggler tag above my head doesn't mean a whole helluva lot.
One thing I did notice was that the wound % on the swords went from 34% without the teeth to 51% with the teeth. I don't really know what that means, but I noticed it.

My friend looted i think a 280 max damage gaderificci baton with only like 9 mind cost. With a good slice HOPEFULLY it could get up to 330 or soemthing =)

Hateto burst your bubble, and maybe Im missing something, but that just doesnt lookthat great to me. The stats on my baton still look better. The low minimun damage is what really kills it, the avg on your sword is only 181.
Pre-slice:
Min: 129
Max: 220
Avg: 174.5
Speed: 3.5
HAM: 60/37/19
Range Mods: All -3
Wound: 32.5%
Im currently using one with a 32% damage slice, which takes the damage to 170 - 290, an avg of 230. The wound % on yours is nice, but the low minimum again makes it not a good choice for PvP, because of how mitigation works. Mitigation takes a % off the range, which on your sword is monstrous.

What I think this really demonstrates more than anything once again is that the lack of weapon choices for fencers.

I have Gaffi I got from a friend that dose 160 to 285 damage, but I think it was more I need to repair it it only has 300 condition left in it, I think at its best it was doing at maxof 300+ damage, ill halfto get back to you all on that. the speed sucks tho 3.1 and has -3 to the range mods

well I have been used a curved sword thats 97-301 with 78% to wound simply for that purpose in pvp..
but now with that taken out, its useless.. I just use my 309 gaffi now.. Its a nice sword though..
