Thread: combat def caps
Officially all Defense caps are now 125. This include State defenses and Primary Defenses (Range/Melee)
Anyone actually playing the game, so this rules out the Devs it would seem, may notice that no matter what your Melee defense you are now getting beaten upon like a Novice Entertainer...Apparently all is working fine, you just need more armour, food and Buffs ![]()
There's a possibility they will remove ALL defense caps when they revamp the Combat system so the code can deal with calculating the High numbers that could be achieved with Defense stacking. Personally I have no problem with a 125pnt Cap I just don't think it is working properly on Melee and Range defenses.

You are incorrect. State defenses are not mentioned as being capped.
The 125 cap applies to block/dodge/counterattack and range/melee defense. Thats it.
No you're right there isn't any mention of it. For some reason I thought it was, maybe it was mentioned in the first details of Pub7or maybe someone else said it and I took it as gospell, eitherway, my mistake. Of course that doesn't mean they haven't ![]()
It's actually pretty tough to get any of these over 125 anyway and I'm not sure any but KD Defense will go that high.It has been said there is a minimum 10%chance of a State attack sticking, so stacking these to rediculous levelswould prove pointless. This isn't the case, imo but who knows. Good luck ever getting a Dev to confirm it.

I do not think any of the melee def, an range def has been adjusted yet, I came across a tka named neven in the guild omega. By the combat data I pulled on him while fighting him suggests he had 145+ melee defence. Then he went off saying an boasting he had 150 melee defence you cant touch me you pos fencer! ahaha.. I susspect that the only changes were made to dodge, block, an counter attack for now... Still testing this information out, or it may be isolated issues were some characters do not get properly adjusted this patch yet whom knows.
