Ok here goes....

I dont pvp and i love to PvE. The thing is i want to take on Rancors, NigthSisters, Jantaa, Kungaa maybe even test my hand at a Master Jedi and Other stuff out there to get nice loot.

What i've read and correct me please if am wrong is that FENCER is not the profession for PvE but rather SWORDMAN.

Now i dont think that Fencer is as they say ( dont do alot of damage ) or just isnt a good PvE template.

I've seen fencers at fort tusken holding there own.

I need you guys and by you guys i mean the FENCER population to make this clear to me.

What you say will decide if i go up the fencer tree or Swordman.

I just want to say that , I WANT to do FENCER but if they cant hold up in game to what i like to hunt then i have no choice but to go with my backup choice....

I like the whole defensive take on fencers where as Swordman just try to out damage there enemy before they get killed.

I tried or i should say am already on lvl 4 for Fencerin the brawler tree and was taking on 2 tuskens at once.... most fun i had in a long time.... with me attacking one then swinging around to block the other ones attack ... man that was sweet....

I just like that fact that Fencer is a good mix from what i've had a chance to play with....

Now dont let the way i feel influnce what your think... i need to hear the pros and cons on PvE with fencer...

thanks in advance for the feed back...

I really dont see any advantage to fencer when it comes to pve. No ap weak hits. Fencers are ok at fort tusken because those are low lvl npc that can sircome to status affects but higher lvl npcs such as nightsisters are hard to get a status affect to stick making us almost useless when hunting them.

The melee professions kinda go from pvp-pve Like Tka best pvp but not all that great at pve, Fencer good at pvp and can hold up in pve, Swordsman not to good in pvp but can make up for itin pve, Pikeman awful in pvp but can kill in pve like no other.

If your going pve only you always could just go for swordsman and fencer.

again thanks for the feed back.

The thing is i have novice scout up to lvl 3 in terrain nogotiation.

I have medic 1.0.3.0 to use good stim b's

Am a master Rifleman and i would like to keep that because of all the trouble i went through to master it.

doesnt leave me much in the line of skill points but i can master either swordman or fencer.

I see your point in the fact that if i want to pve then swordman is the best choice. Or dabble in both.

thanks again

Could take on best of both worlds. I'm working on supplimenting Swordsman with the Stances and Grips line of Fencer to jack Ranged Defense and Melee Defense to 125. Very nice with Counterattack. =)
