Thread: no new fencer weapons any time soon? =[

in the files of patch 10 people have found mentions of cyborg arms and some new weapons... None of these weapons are for fencers. I had hopes when i heard the rumors that one would be the now legendary raph's sword but alas it appears not to be. Instead there are 4 carbines, 4 pistols, a 2hand sword and a pike (the melee weaps are rumored to be for wooks only)
not sure if i'm late on this disscussion or not but honestly i feel more and more like we are being forgotten here however at the same time i know we are a very popular profession in the current combat situation. Just wondering what was up with the promised sword and why don't we ever get to see new weapons for our prof?
and no one mention the rantok, the blade that twists in our side as a cruel joke.

Those Kashyk Items won't be Wook only, I can almost guarantee. The Wookies can do every profession and use every weapon just like the rest of us... With that, there would be ABSOLUTELY no need for Wookies to get their own weapons, it wouldn't make sense.

There is a Fencer weapon in the works. but it is getting the time and attention it deserves because it represents a very close friend to many of us who is gone. It is "Raphayl's Blade". And the wonderful helpfull careing and kind woman whom it's named after, a friend to many of us and the best Correspondent we ever had, is gone.
While we do deserve new weapons, we need to be patient. They will come.

I know "Raphayl's Blade" is in the works, i mentioned it in my post... just trying to be a squeeky wheel, though not like we arn't already *shrug*

it is also said the fencers along iwth pistolers will be able to duel weild after combat revamp

So there will only be the one new weapon or possibly a 2nd or 3rd?

Do you have any info on the what the stats for Raphayl's blade will look like?

No I do not have any specifics to disclose on what Raphayl's Blade will look like or it's Stat range. Nor on the difficulty or requirments to get it.
I do not have any knowledge on when it's getting put into play.
I also do not have any knowledge on any other one handed melee weapons that are in the works.

Treeyn, I understand the frustration, however I don't think it's appropriate to use the loss of a friend as a method of expressing that sentiment.
I do not know why we have not been made aware of any new weapons for us, or if any others are even being developed.

wow, i'm shocked at how people take the loss of a life so carelessly and with no respect of that person.
This was not intended to go in that direction. There are 4 new carbines and 4 new pistols along top of the weapons we saw the corvette and dwb bring in game. Thats all i wanted to point out.

I passed that info along to devs when I was Core, Mine has as well, no response as of yet. Commando core is in same boat as well, he points it out as well, and gives us a bump when he brings up the subject as do we to him.
