Thread: One class act stun baton floating about?

Directed towards the Corbantis Fencers:
Do you know anywhere i can get some REALLY good fencer weapons. Ive seen my fair share of entry level stun batons and such.
But im looking for the REALLY amazing ones, the type you whoop TKAs ass with 
.
.Anybody selling one? know where i can get one?
Also any place i can get DOTd Gaderiffi batons and stuff?
Please point me in the right direction, im fighting a losing battle.
Ive tried posting in the Trade section but that stuff moves so fast you dont get chance to look at a thread.

what does it matter what forum it is? the dude was asking a simple question. if you don't want to answer, then don't post. as far as a good baton, on shadowfire I could tell ya where to go lol

Couple things...
1) As said before this aint the corbantis trade forum, but since you at least tried there, I'll give you a break 
2) To get the best stun batons you need to have the best acklay bones. You probably arent gonna find a 500dmg stun baton on a vendor just sitting there waiting to be sold. Most people with high end batons had them made specifically with acklay bones they provided to their weaponsmith. So if you don't have really awesome bones, you're probably SOL unless you can afford to buy a premade stun baton from someone selling theirs
3) Stun batons are old news. 2-3 months ago when scatterhit was bugged and no one had stun comp and psg's they were good. Now everyone and their brother knows how to counter a stun baton, i.e. wearing stun composite and a psg... even with the most incredible acklay baton in existence you wouldn't do enough dmg to a well prepared opponent to kill them. Fencer is crap for dealing dmg nowaday, something you'll have to get used to I'm afraid.

actually fencer is not really that bad, with a good gaffi on hand and a great stun baton, simply :
Try the baton first, if it looks like your not doing much damage, i assume that hes got a PSG, thats when i switch to the gaffi and use cho mok, to tear that PSG to shreds. Thanks to my defence stacking i can survive long enough to tear up the 2 or 3 PSG's hes got, and work passed the synthsteak, and then go back to the baton for scatterhits, to hit all 3 pools since mind is unhealable its hte best target.

Thanks for the help guys, ive gathered quite a lot of info from the trade forums about the good batons, and it doesnt look like im going to get one pre-made. I cant afford to buy good acklay bones so....Acklay...Here i come.
But, i just spent my hard earned on a new toy, what do you think of this Acklay Gaffi stick: 202/326 damage. 4.0 speed 21 wound.
Paid 1mil for it. There were a LOT better ones in the shop, but i havent got the cash right now.
What do you think?
Oh and P_day, i know what your saying about switching between weapons in duels, it sounds like a good idea, but the bug in game is a right balls up for that one, where you click on equip for another weapon and it takes like 10 seconds before it actually changes. In a duel with a master TKA/swordsman 10 seconds and its goodnight mr fencer. So having a brilliant all-round weapon is the best idea, just hard to find for fencer.

Weapon switch delay is only around 3 seconds and is not a bug. IIRC, it was put in to prevent people from fast switching over and over and getting more shots off than they are normally able to.

Equipping a gaffi to beat through some psg's will not work, as a gaffi stick = kinetic damage, psg - vulnerable to kinetic, Therefore, a gaffi will not affect a psg in any way. The only way to beat through one is to use a damage type against it that it resists i.e. stun, using a stun baton.
