Goto Danto and hunt "Great Plains Pikets" They pack aggro but do not "DB" and they give about 3k in xp. The dead giveaway is the piket missions are 10k each even if your not grouped (sweet). So by yourself buffed (for 3hrs) you can make a ton of cash & alot of xp too.Everyone will tell u hunt hurton's & qenkers but unless ur a medic or doc they will "DB" you and your buff is gone. Pikets are the safe way to go imho. But stay away from the "Fierce Piket Protectors" they are wild spawns you will run into while driving to your mission, those pikets will "DB" you! Don't hunt them until you have a good number of tree's filled or you feel adventerous that day.

Ok, good points and all but here are the problems I see with that tactic.
If you are in a big solo group it definately effects the number of spawns per nest. When solo or grouped with my droid (whichI never use in combat) I get max 6 hurrtons per nest, when grouped I get 12-15. Also being in a group (small or big, I don't think it maters) will give you more XP per kill.Test it yourself. When solo I get 2800-3200 xp per huurton. When grouped I get 3800-4200 per hurrton (huntress).
About the Deathblow thing, if you have good buffs plus some mind buffs and/or brandy with even a decent set of ubese or comp armor, there is no way you should be getting incapped by dogs. I have had 8 on me at once and never broke a sweat. Carry some stim-b's if youre that worried.
Now I've never hunted Pikets so I'm not sure about the numbr of spawns per nest or their defenses but killing Hurrtons at 4k each, 12-15 per nest plus another 4k for the nest at 15% kinetic is a pretty sweet deal. I hit them for 300-600 dmg not stunned and 200-400 stunned (curved sword).Intwo buffs time I leveld all the way up the footwork tree (last night as a matter of fact) and I wasn't even trying that hard. You know, I did some shopping, talked to some friends, had to run back to the guild on Tat a couple of times.
