Thread: Finally Aquired the Rantok sword
That is pretty cool...so really you could keep getting them and then sell them for lots and lots of credits each...interesting...a good money maker...even if you sold them on the bazaar for 3k each you would sell alot. Or sell to a vendor for more each. Or another idea, sell them for a bunch to those that hang around there bugging you to sell you theres...then you woudn't have to run to a bazaar or go anywhere to sell them.
So tell me now who would take advantage of that exploit?
Hello,
I am happy to say that after getting killed many times I was able to get the Rantok sword. Those missions aren't easy to do by yourself. Especially the red con's. The only thing about keeping the Rantok sword is that you don't actually finish all the missions from Jabba. That is ok though because I just wanted the sword. I plan on getting it sliced and it should be pretty cool after that. It has very low HAM. 10/10/10.
For those of you who don't know how to keep the sword you have to equip it before you finish the mission and then you basically tell Jabba that you can't finish it now and you will be back later. But of course you most likely won't go back if you want to keep it. I read how to do this on this forum somewhere. Thanks to posted on how to do that whoever you are...Sorry my memory is bad.
I have read what other people have said about the sword but I think it is pretty cool. A nice collector item if nothing else. I am going to try and use it. Right now it is in the 150's with 3.3 delay. So I am hoping the slice will turn out good. Should be interesting.
I am currently working on Novice Fencer. I have a ways to go before I become a novice but that is alright. It is fun.

Yeah it was the sword that I had to pick up for Jabba. Jabba doesn't actually give you a sword. He gives you some cannon after you give him his sword. Instead of keeping it in your inventory you have to equip the sword and then his droid makes a comment about where is the item that you aquired for Jabba. Then you go about your business with a new sword.
I actually got the sword sliced and now the damage is in the 180's if I remember correctly. I used it a bunch last night. I would go into a nest attack the nest and let the creatures surround me and then do the spin attack that master one hand sword can do...it is pretty sweet...in no time at all I had them all dead along with the nest. Actually the nest was destroyed before the animals were dead, but they were dead not long after.
It is pretty cool. The HAM cost is very low compared to the rest of the swords I have. So yeah I was pretty happy with the Rantok sword.
Nice.....But why is the Rantok blade the only weapon that can't be crafted?
