Thread: Did the kiting fix fix anything?
Just curious,
Supposedly last week's big patch included increased movement penalties associated with moving and shooting and with shooting at a moving target. The Devs had talked about this as one of their proposals to help balance kiting.
Since the patch, I've mostly been doing creature missions, so I haven't run up against any kiters. Has anyone noticed if the patch changed anything significantly? Do you get hit less often when you are being kitied by a target you are following?

Well, from the other side....When running with my pistol, I do seem to miss more often. So it takes a two or three more shots. With a Pistol, this is no big deal. With slower weapons this noticable.

yeah, accuracy did get worse when running or vs. running.
And with my pistol, I had noticed previously that long range accuracy had gotten worse.
Course, it's kinda dumb that somebody with a sword seems to have a big penalty hitting with the sword, even though they're right next to the guy.
The bigger question is
Is the person who is kiting at a higher level than you..during a duel I had to chase down a guy w/ a pistol and a carbineer.
He was wearing full Bone Armor(1st clue that I knew I could own him).
But yeah he hit me ..but he missed alot he eventually bleeded to death.
I dont care what the DEVS have said concerning us hitting whil moving...I checked his distance and at times I was 2 meters away from him and still could not hit him w/ my sword! this needs to be addressed.
I even used burst run..ran past him..stood still but because he was moving it didnt work.
