Hello fellow fencers,

I am almost Master Fencer On Bloodfin, not too many of us there. I decide to buy a suit of Composite Armor to see what all the hype was about. Not to bad over 50 %(plus sliced). after using it for about 2 days I see it helps out against range a little but at a big cost to mind. I fight better without armor but, I am tiring to find something to help me against range.

-Do most of you go without armor ?

-Or do you recommend different type ? If so how dose it work for you ?

-Or is Composite Armor ok , I am I just doing something wrong with stats or something

my advice is to find a set of armor that has high resists aginst the moreused/powerful ranged weapons... i mean i cant tell you what damage they dish out cause i dont pay attention... but id look into weapons like the launcher pistol, flamethrower, scatter pistol, fwg5(is that right?), t21, and laser carbine... of course thers a few weapons with acid damage also.... but im guessing if you want to know what to look for resists look into...

acid, heat, blast, and kenetic.... someone add more if they feel the need... i mean im no guru of the combat system cause i haven't reallyspent the time to look into it

Composite is best for pvp because it stop s the fwg and flame heat , stops the dx2 and scatter acid, stops the energy of all the **edit** energy crap and stops all the other random crap people use to get around armor. If you have issues withthe ham on composite buy several suiits and try for a good ham slice.

I am a fencer on bloodfin, tho im only 2-4-0-2 almost... but we should get together, im using a full set of padded and sometimes ubese armor.... can't offord composite yet.... anywayz if you wanna get together and get some xp sometime that would be great...

Im a master fencer on bloodfin, I wore composite armor while pve, not when gathering big time xp though. Say when I was trying to reach a destination, Id wear, and it would help greatly if I was attacked.. But when gathering xp, hopefully you're using a tank of course, armor just restricts your special moves so Id take it offer, use my dizzy/lunge/blind/bleed combo/hit2/beresk1 and the mob would go down...

I'm pretty new to the Fencer line. I've been indecisive on what profession to persue but finally settled on Fencer. I'm not quite through brawler 1h sword 4 yet, but I'd like to hook up with some of you guys on Bloodfin to run around with. I could use the training on how to make best use of the class, or just some other folks to get xp with.
