The graphicalStyle presented for Fencers is the same one used by the fight choreographers in the movies, all the lightsaber battles used this style... though for the life of me I cannot remember the name of it.

But I do know it is reminicent of my training in To-jutsu which is a(common name of) a one handed short sword form from Jujutsu. Popularized by Americans like Stevan K Hayes, and Mark Davis, taught from Sensai Dr. Mitsagi Hatsumi in Noda City Japan.

Our Curved Sword is nearly identical to the clasical Wakazashi, the 2 handed Curved Sword being inbetween the proportions of a Daisho (or Dai Katana) and a Standard modernized Katana.

Take a look at what the left hand does in your animations while your fighting doing various special moves... it is a counter ballance/parrying tool. It is in effect a shield/counterweight.

To those that want a shield or a second weapon, I suggest not in the clasical senses...

However a type of armor that like the Chitin Biceps extends out from the forearm as a forearm shield perhaps extending over the outstretched hand that adds to Counterattack/dodge skill perhaps at the cost of a small amount of encumbrance... or act as a PSG seeing as that hand is a parrying tool... gives the crafters another thing to make money off of and something for us to wear to look cool. *ahem*

that is exactly what i think!! that's why sometimes i war armor on my left hand but not right! hope the DEV will actually make a mod for this though.

Something like :

"%TT attack you for XXX damage but you blocked with your sword"

"%TT attack you for XXX damage but you blocked with your armor and prevented XXX damage"

of coz' there will be a bonus if you blocked with your left hand

Same reason why I have a chitin left Bicep while the rest of my armor (not that I ever wear armor while fighting hard battles) is Padded. Because realistically my left arm is going to take more damage thus needs to be protected more.

I've got an idea for the graphic design of what I'm talking about for left arm fencer deflector armor.

I'm a terrible artist but maybe I can give it a shot.

I didn't know the bracer coveredthe whole forearm? I go withcomposite left shoulder/bracer and comp. gloves... I think I am going to get a chest plate too, just depends on how poor I am.
