I think i've seen a couple other posts w/ this same pattern. just curious. I ask because that is also my holocron path.

I just want to say that i'm really psyched to be joining you guys. I think it'll be great to be part of such a rare yet really cool profession. As easy as it was to be grenadeer/mch--it got mind numbingly boring.

i hate to say it, but i am very displeased that we have holocron fencers. don't get me wrong, 99% of them are decent fellows. and i have no ill feelings towards them. but i too enjoying being a small close-knit community.

i'm not against an influx of fencers. but not when it's an end to a means.

ah well. they'll come and go, and hopefully the good ones will stay.

maybe i won't be putting up my title for a while yet....

Man i agree with you, im tired of all these Fencers popping up to because of the holocrons told them to... i picked Fencer because i enjoy the proffesion not because some freakin HOLO told me to.... i really really am displeased with this and if somethign doesnt change ima drop my account... just when i was beggingin to really love fencer because im very close to blademasterall these F******** just start poppin up....

I thought I was a little edgy from trying to quit smoking after 18 years. Apparently I'm doing ok.

Those are 2 of my skills but I have no holocrons. They are good skills.

I have said this many times in the game. If I find a holocron, I will not use it and I will give it to a friend. I absolutely will not change who I am for the sake of some lame SOE time/money sink, crystal cube, dangling carrot thing.

Too many good people are changing their professions for the sake of these silly little widgets.Some of my existing fencer friends are now focusing on something else anda fewother people I know are now becoming fencers. All this profession jumping is crazy.

Our once small and rare profession gains more people by the day thanks tothese holocrons.It no longer feels special when I get/tell blastedfrom half a dozen different people needing training when I log in.

People in starports ask me what class Blademaster is and I tell them Fencer. The very next question I get is "Oh.. Did you find a holocron?"

Grrrr........

All these Holo-inspired fencers are driving me insane... always complaining about how much fencer sucks and stuff. Asking me how i put up with it, and why ANYONE would WANT to be one. Dont even get me started on the list of people that send me tells for training.I would like to consider myself a nice person most of the time... but when im trying to talk to my friends, andI get about 5 different tells from people asking for training, its almost enough to make me want to take off my proud Blademaster title soI wont get these tells.

and as for me getting a holocron... if I do, I do. If it says get something i dont want to get... it can just go elsewhere and I wont become fs... BIG DEAL!

Hmm i thought this board was friendly, im a holocron inspired fencer btw. I'm also enjoying it but will follow the holocron path wherever it leads. Having finished this path I will then master the professions i like most, you dont have to keep the professions the holo's suggests, just master them once. It also gives me the opportunity to try different professions i would not normally have considered, like fencing!I can them then make a more informed choice on which profession suits me at the end. Sorry if we annoying you guys, but ty for answering all the queries

I am one of those Holo fencers and I am haveing fun every second. Fencer is the most funI have ever had, that holo is one of the best things that could have happened to my character. besides who doesnt think that the fencer moves lookkick assand are better than BH, besides those blaster happy newbs?

Please lay of the "Holo fencers" some of use are realy having fun.

I want to say that all though i wouldn't have picked it willingly, i agree w/ the earlier poster that it's the best thing that's happened to my char.

I totally empathize w/ you guys on the holo thing, kinda goes inline w/ how i feel about CH dabbling. But that's a WHOLE other forum lol.

I just made novice fencer today and already my gaffi stick antics are the stuff of legend in stormtrooper barracks all over the galaxy. I'm havin loads of fun and wish I had done this instead of following the BH/Commando masses.

I don't expect to gain your trust and respect overnight, however I hope you all will accept me as a fellow muskateer.

yeah, i was gonna become a mon cal as well, but since i didn't play the beta, i didn't know that the stat bonuses for most species really didn't make that much of a difference.

so i chose twi'lek, but i'm still pretty happy with it

I've sliced both ryyks, and curved swords to around 210dmg. They're still essentially worthless even then with the high HAM cost, and poor minimum damage. But yes it is fun to dress up like a pirate.
