Thread: Body Hit 2 vs One Hand Hit 2

I'm new to the fencing profession and after a little guidance.

ATM I'm 0002 but have enough fencing xp for a new box. After playing around with my current skills it's obvious that body hit 1 is a bit rubbish! The damage done is just awful.

When I'm using a special 90% of the time I use one hand hit 2. Damage is good but the any pool target isn't.

After reading the forums I see most people suggest taking footwoork first. This is an option however if body hit 2 is any use i'd really like that early on too.

Basically how does body hit 2 compare damage wise with one hand hit 2?

Anyone got any exact numbers? ie one hand hit 2 = 4x damage. body hit 2 = 3x.

Thanks in advance

Vote: Body hit 2

The attic was less to us from the cellar the bones like the attic let them have it let them stay in the attic. When they sometimes come down the stairs at night and stand perplexed behind the door and headboard of the bed brushing that chalky skull with chalky fingers with sounds like the dry rattling of a shutter. Thats what I sit up in the dark to say.

oooooooooo good question... it really depends on the situation though... if you are soloing... body hit 2, because it goes for the health pool every hit, but if you are with other people 1h hit 2 is nice cuz the damage is a bit better, and you might help your friends with the pool that they are going after.

but my vote is body hit 2... (even though 3 pwns all!!! )

Cool, looks like i'll be training body hit 2 today. Hopefully the animation will be as good as one hand hit 2's. Gotta love that knee to the groin!

My char is called Universal. I'd call AH my home town but i'm not hunting out of there all the time, I try to mix it up a little.

Thanks for the help guys.

Some brainy pistoleer types did math on this, and for pistols at least, targeted shots were generally more effiicient than random attacks.

Random attacks will hit something other than the health pool up to 50% of the time. This would mean that a random attack would need TWICE the damage per second of the targeted attack to match it for effectiveness.

But personally I still use the random attacks vs weak things, and pvp.

herer is the jist of it all you lose roughly 25% of the dmg to have precision but with one handhit2 it seems like 75%+ goes to health anyhow.... its always your choice and what fits your style..

for me its always onehandhit2

Body hit II, always use Body hit attacks unless you are trying to destroy something with a single HAM bar (Lairs and such). Then use one hand hit X

BTW, start leveling up your footwork tree instead, this is the FIRST tree you wanna master, after you master it, get yourself a damage sliced gadariffi baton, then you will see the real damage of body hit 2 and 1h hit 2

Ok i trained body hit 2 and i'm not disappointed at all. It's pretty much the only attack I use now. Picked up the first box of footwork too for the health bleed.

I'm liking fencer so far

I find one hand hits are good for lairs, and mobs that already have a low action or mind pool. If hit thier low pool they die, and if you hit their health pool switch to body hit. Must of the time I use body hit though, because I'm also using a pistol and can do some health damage before I start fencing.
