Thread: Good Stat set up for Wookiees?

Hi all. I'm ZM (aka Zyarcah) and relatively new to fence (I think 0-1-0-1 on the fencer tree). I'm a wookiee on chilastra. I was just curious what you all think a good setup for a Wookiee fencer would be.


My other skills:


Medic (3-3-3-4): only thing I use it for is healing myself. No intentions on continuing medic lineup except to get apprenticeship xp.
Rifleman (1-2-1-1): Giving rifleman up and either going all melee or going to fencer/pistoleer.
CH (2-2-1-2): Not sure how far I'm going in this yet. We'll have to see how many points I'll have for it.
I've got the marksman support skills and the first 2 skills of unarmed on the bralwer tree as well.

it depends what weapon you see yourself using...


since wookies have good health stats naturally, a gaffi baton is a nice fit (high health cost)--get some speed mods though first


however, for opponents with armor ratings, you'll need to use a vibro blade, which has such low ham costs you don't really need to deal with it at all (but mainly action)


finally, if you find you use a stun baton alot (against mobs with stun vulnerabilties), you'll want to max your mind stats


I think with other professions it's easier to say "max this, min that," as pistols are all action, rifles are all mind, and tka only has one type of weapon (mainly action), but fencer has alot of options...up to you



(i'd say use your wookie advantage and get a gaffi...max health)

Let me preface this stat suggestion with the idea that I never fight unbuffed.

That said, I maxed all my mind stats, as these are the most difficult to augment currently. 1100/650/600. Next, I examined how my specials worked when buffed. Well, any semi-decent buff eliminated all special costs but mind. So I zero'd my "burn" stats, strength and quickness. Regen stats do not appear to have a cap so I maxed those, with a decent set of buffs I regenerate faster than most mobs (or players) can take points off. Once I'd maxed the regen stats I put 850 into health and 800 into action, as action gets hit less.

My final stat breakdown is such:
850/650/550
800/400/500
1100/650/600
Again, this assumes you're buffed when you fight, and as a wookiee I strongly recommend it.

I am a wookie fencer myself. I have my stats at 1000health 1000stamina 1000mind, lowered all the middle stats to the lowest because we cant wear armor so we dont need the HAM< reduction and maxed out mind regen and the regen stats. hope that helps

your currant set up would be best for most any prof. Max all your mind stats and use your healing abilities to make up for the marginaly lower health and actoin. Also remember foods when i was a rifleman i used a BoH and a ryschate as a fencer im finding 2 ryshcates and a Fishtake work better cause i get hit more often so the mind buff helps.


Im also a master CH so this getting hit in PVE is all new to me.

I have done a template much like Tithas.


1100/1125/1015 HAM


I used the rest to boost my foc/will to help with mind stamina and regen.


I buy feshak and vercupti (mind drink and food) and stims all by the crates.


I can usually keep up with damage pretty well with the stims and then pop the food and drink between hits to recover mind and keep on swinging.

I think putting all the cookiees in the mind jar makes the most sense. Especially if you can heal yourself at all.

Awesome thanks guys. I think right now I have my HAM at 1000/1000/1000 and everything else pretty much even with secondary mind stats a bit higher.
