Thread: Dodge differences between Bladesman and Blademaster?
I suppose i should explain how dodge actually calculates into the battle so here it goes
The enemy: a chuba with 200 acuracy ![]()
You: 100 melee def. and 50 dodge
Ok, the chuba is at 5m away and has a -25 range modifier. So the chuba's accuracy is now 175. Then it goes to your melee def. and now it has 75 acuracy. Then, after the melee def., it goes to your dodge and subtracts that. So the chuba ends up with 25 acuracy and it tries to hit you. The almighty gods of SWG decide whether it hits you or not. obviously the higher the acuracy the more they like you and will grant you your wish of hitting him ![]()
If you had 150 dodge instead the chuba would have -75 acuracy but it is capped at -50 (atleast for us it is, i asume for the NPC's too) so it doesn't have a very good chance at hitting you.
So to answer your question, 15 isn't that much by its self, but when stacked with other stuff then it is valuable
