Thread: how much better is body hit2 over body hit 1?
im currently at 0 1 0 1, i have enough xp for either footwork 2 or technique 1 which gives me bodyhit2.
so my question is should i just keep using body hit 1 till im footwork 4 than to technique 1 or should i get technique 1 now and than all the way to footwork 4?

I've read it, and I don't think it talks about what Trees to do first. Maybe the question could be avoided by reading the FAQ, but not answering the question (and flaming the person)and assuming its in the FAQ is a problem in itself
Not to mention, a great way to start someones entry into the fencer world.
To answer the question, Body Hit 2 is very nice. More damage than Body Hit 1, and all damage directly to the health pool.
Going through to Master Footwork is probably the consensus, but getting Body Hit 2 is not a bad idea.
What I did so far is this:
Footwork/Technique 1 (both will help you get the other), Footwork 2-4, Technique 2-3, the rest. Level up the Combat XP line as needed of course.
This gives you the speed bonus and body hit 2, then +40 speed from Footwork 2 and 4, then dodge and defense bonuses, plus BH3 from technique.
Keep in mind, I am only 0-4-2-2, soI dont have much experience in the benefits of BH3, or in the first line (Scatter Hits and such).
Hope that helps. I'll read the FAQ again, but a quick glance, I don't see anything about tree advancement.

InquisitorPayne, if you dislike repeating yourself so much then simply don't reply...nobody forces you to respond, it is a choice.
One of the purposes of these forums is allow fencers to pool their knowledge, present problems they have encountered to their peers, and so that people just entering the profession or interested in the profession could ask questions of those with more experience. It always amazes how quickly people with knowledge on a subject forget that not too long ago they were just as ignorant as the people they now ridicule.
