Thread: Request for details about current Bleed power
Since some States/DoT's still appears underpowered I am assembling a document regarding the states/dots in the game.
Among them are ofcourse the Fencer bleed.
Would someone be kind to provide me with the following values:
Multiplier on Advanced Bleed Attack:
Set Combat Log to "Verbose" mode. Attack with a regular attack (just /attack the target). Note down "Possible Damage".
Now attack with Advanced Bleed attack. Note down "Possible Damage".
Your regular attack is x1.0, so just compare the difference.
Multiplier on the Bleed Dot:
Compare the amount of % the Bleed causes to your target compared to the Final damage (after defense/armor)you did to your target.
Amount of Ticks:
Count the amount of ticks, the duration and how far they are apart.
Here's Improved Saber Slash for comparision:
Saber Slash:
* x0,425 Damage
* x2.0 elemental damage
* The bleed is 27% of the finaldamage given.
-Becouse of the note above, armor reduces bleed.
-Becouse of the note above, armor break improves bleed
* Saber Slash bleed ticks for 3 times, 21 sec apart.
* Bleed stacks
In short this is our #1 issue because of how low the damage is and how long it takes to tick the damage off.
OK, here it is.
Template (oh noes, I give away my secret
)
Master Brawler
TKM
Master Pikewoman
Fencer xxx4
Swordswoman x14x
Weapon used
Vibro Lance
Speed: 2.3 (modified 1.43)
Damage: 416-837 (energy)
Melee Hit (both "test objects" were lvl 80 Bantha)
378 Points of damage (absorbed 326 out of 705 points of possible damage)
(*cough* math prof any1? *cough* maybe any hidden .xx - values?)
LvL 80 Bantha (without ArmorBreak)
Improved Bleed attack itself did 148 Points of damage (absorbed 226 out of 277 points of possible damage)
(I dont get it...)
Bleed ticked every 4 seconds, starting the first second the hit was made (to be exact: the first bleed is listed above the attack itself
)
Bleed damage: 114 Points
I had bleed-attack set to auto and finished the Bantha only using that attack (except the initial Melee Hit).
The Bleed-Damage never changed. However, the pause between ticks changed.
1st three ticks had a pause of 4 seconds, then there is a break for 8 seconds, then there is a "double-tick" (one second in between), 4 seconds pause, double-tick, 4 seconds pause, ...
The final bleed (the one on corpse
) only did 57 points of damage...
LvL 80 Bantha (with AdvancedArmorBreak)
Improved Bleed attack itself did 200 points of damage (absorbed 133 out of 277 points of possible damage)
(again: I dont get it...)
Bleed tick was all messed up in that test. I think I could never ever see the 4 second pause between 2 ticks in that log.
Bleed damage: 153
I had bleed-attack set to auto and finished the Bantha only using that attack (except the initial advanced Armorbreak).
*note* I am not good at testing, I am pretty sure I forgot something (like more tests on different Mobs) but I am so lazy ![]()

Hmmm... That is wierd ![]()
Advanced Bleed (Testresults #1 (you))
Weapon Damage: 416-837
Regular Hit: 705-326=378
Bleed 1: 277-226=148 / 114 (23%)
Bleed 2: 277-133=200 / 153 (23,5%)
Advanced Bleed (Testresults #2)
Damage: 450-900
Standard: 939-513=425
Bleed 1: 306-245=167 / 129 (23%)
Underlined: based on thoose numbers the Bleed Attack have a multiplier ofx0,4, but the 2nd result shows a multiplier of x0,32...
Yellow: That makesno sense
... 277-226=51 not 148... But I trust you. We got similiar results when we tried it.
Purple: What appears consistent is that the ticks here are 23% of the mitigated value.
Red: Hmmm, that doesnt appear consistent with our testing... Are you sure?

I'll go get the rest of the information for you tonight on TC but I know that our bleed ticks once every 19 seconds 3 times total and is resisted by armor. The bleed is 33% of the max damage of the weapon you are using. You can stack bleeds 3 times if they hit the same body location each time (no way to tell where it hits). 1.0 elemental damage multiplier.
