Thread: Focus Thread: New Fencer Animations with Publish 19

Just want to make a thread if anyone sees any animations they feel should be changed to some of the old animations or any problems your seeing with the new animations coming with Publish 19. They looked fine to me on TC this passed week.

I'm really fricken glad we got our animations back. I only have one complaint, Body hit as a very bland animation compared to say bleed, or scatter hit (awesome animation there) Even Head hit from swords looks cool but one of our own specials doesn't seem to get any love.

Scatter hit looks unnatural all speeded up like that.

I still seem to do an awful lot of punching with my fists when I use my blade from Kash quest. Looks more like tkm moves than fencers ones.

This weapon is still bugged.

arh damn it. I was wondering why I was still fighting TKM style Just doesn't look right.... I was going to say if you guys think that me doing TKM moves was fencer moves then damn.


Also some people in my group said they saw me hitting 75m with my knife when I had switched to my Rifle. I saw the rifle they saw me using the knife

None of the animations are wot they used to be. Yes the recent publish has improved them a little, but they jus do not have the same fluency as pre-CU. I find this very frustrating.

i like the animations......id like to see more fluidity and slashes tho

If you use Dizzy Attack from TK, that animation uses the BodyHit animation.

I think that uses the old hit 3 animation.

This was brought up with other professions using our animations in the Correspondent forum. The devs said there are so many animations that they have to be spread out across the other professions. Every other melee profession has this too so don't think it is just Fencer =).
