I did not see this issue anywhere, so pardon if I did, but does bleed stacking often cause a lack of experience? I am noticing that when I stack the shots, and the creature dies from a bleeding incident, I do not gain experience and the corpse disappears immediately upon death. Any idea?

just make sure you do some other form of damage to them before they die. the first thing I do in any fight, that will be longer than 30 seconds, is stack hs1 & 2. I've never noticed a loss of xp when the mob goes down, IF I do some normal shots on them.

I'm pretty sure this only happens if the creature /only/ takes bleed damage. As long as you damage it at least once (Not miss, Dodge, or Counter-Attack) you get full weapon XP for the kill. I know a lot of Brawlers who use this tactic. Punch/Stab/Cut/Pike an enemy once, then bleed shot the sucker to death and get full Brawler XP.

Now - there may be an issue with grouped XP. I seem to notice that when I bleed shot creatures that my group is fighting, I get less of an XP cut than if I stick to normal damage dealing shots. I wonder if Bleed damage doesn't figure for the Group XP ratio upon creature death. I could also just be paranoid on that part, though.

When you stack the bleeds.....hit it with your pistol shot or another ie carbine or rifle. If you switch right after your bleed shots....the all of your xp will be with that weapon.....ie all rifle experience.

Just make sure that you hit it with something before it dies.....or you get nothing.

What is the current status of bleed stacking

If in a group of 10 people can everyone haveone health bleed going on the target?

or

In a group of 10 people can you have one health bleed, one action bleed and one mind bleed on the target?

or

In a group of 10 people can you each have one health bleed, one action bleed and one mind bleed on the target?

or

In a group of 10 people can you each have one healthshot1, one healthshot2, one actionshot1 etc. on the target?

or

Is it some other combination. I knowbleeds changed in one of the recent publishes, but can't find it in the patch notes.

Patch notes can be found here:

I _swore_ I'd read a not in there about bleed stacking, but it is either a stealth nerf, or didn't make it to live.

And the answer is

In a group of 10 people can you each have one health bleed, one action bleed and one mind bleed on the target?

Bleed stacking no longer works per player.(ie mindshot 1 and 2 or whatever. Only one takes. But you can mindshot 2/ healthshot 2 and both work).

Cheers for the help?

Did it ever make it into official patch notes or was it a stealth nerf?

It was in th epatch 6 notes on test, never looked at them once it was pushed live. I would think it was in there somewhere.

Bleeds are fairly useless now since they are affected by a monsters resistances. Against high level mobs they do maybe 100 points/tick, and theres no point in using them vs low level stuff without high resistances.

Haven't used em since publish 6 tbh.

Hey guys, I was talking to a friend of mine, who is a swordsman, who was saying he could stack his bleeds. For instance, if he hit for 100 dmg on one bleed, then hit another time for 150, it would tick at 250.

Is this correct? I was under the impression, that bleeds did not stack. Was the only stacking taken out between shot1 and 2, or should he not be able to do this?
