Thread: good sword stats?

hi guys. i'm a master teras kasi / commando and my holocron said fencer, so i'm going fencer now. since i'm new to all the swords, what are some good sword stats. nothing crazy, just a very good min/max and ham 1 handed swords?
right now i have i think a vibroblade with 178 max dam and 12/15/13 ham cost. i'm pretty sure thats the stats, but it has a 33% maxdam powerup on it.
so whats good? what should i be using? and where can i get them ? (i play on bloodfin)

The vibroblade is fine until you level up in footwork some. However I didn't think 33% max dam melee powerups were even possible. Also, the ham on your VB is a tiny bit high. Mine is about 10/12/10 or so. It's low enough that it probably won't matter much though.
After you get to footwork 3 or 4, you might consider using a damage sliced Gaffi stick. A good damage slice will get the max damage up to around 285-290

thanks. ya i'm not sure about that melee powerup i think i got confused with my ranged powerups. but thanks for all the info.

The FAQ has a good rundown on which weapons to use at different levels. Be sure to check that out.
