Some advice I would give anyone looking to become a fencer.

  • Don't look for a the quick and easy way to get there. XP can be maximized by finding the right monster that you gain on without getting yourself killed.

    • I strugged in the beginning finding the fastest way and heading to Dantooine to kill quenkers. I found that killing lesser monsters on Tatooine can easily get you up to Novice Fencer quickly and easily without having to worry about incapping

    • Getting Missions can easily earn you credits as well as xp. I was doing bantha missions and creatures around there and getting 2-4k credits per mission. Not a bad way to start off.

  • Weapon Usage:

    • I started using a regular sword until I got into Fencer. Then I used and am still using a Curved sword.I just recently got a few sliced.

    • Weapons can be bought off the bazaar, especially the sword. In the beginning that is the place I got my first sword. You can usually find them relatively cheap. Once you advance, your pockets will be getting full of credits and you'll be able to afford higher end weapons.

  • Some Materials I would look out for in the future:

    • Vasarian Brandy

    • Muon Gold

    • Stim Pack Bs or better

  • Once you get credits rolling in, I highly recommend finding a doctor who can give you a full set of buffs.

    • I was hunting on Tatooine recently, got buffed and was able to fly through several Bocatt missions without "taking" damage.

  • Choosing a Location to suit you.

    • Dantooine is a great place, don't get me wrong. However, there may be other places for a new fencer to head to

    • Personally, sticking to a starter planet in the beginnings will help you out. Tatooine is great because there's a lot of garbage creatures hanging around Bestine, Mos Eisley, etc. Naboo is also good around Moenia, Theed, and Keren.

I hope this helps you. I'm still at the start myself so I can't give you the best advice. Good luck to you.

I leveled up the fastest I think by killing squals, jax and "the agro guys" around narmle, rori. No one out there normally so it's smooth sailing....I did up to fencer 3 in a few hours or so. It's tedious but what can you do.

The sharnaff groups from coronet got me from brawler to novice fencer in about 8 hours. The beauty of coronet is that there are alot of groups that have lower powered members in, but there are plenty of them so you take less flak from the naffs.

I used a curved sword until i got footwork 4, its the best weapons for new fencers.

everyone overlooks tatooine. saying its too easy.

go kill some giantmountain wortts, wasteland cupas, giant sand beetles, and dewbacks. thats how i made TKM, and i'm using the same strategy for fencer.

eventually i did head out to dath and killed about 23082408508350 giant baz nitches, but you can stick to tatooine for a while.
