Well this is a different set up for dueling that i thought i'd share with you.
I've done it a few times, and i've always got a kick out of it.
First you must be a Fencer, I recommend Master Fencer, but any level will do.
Second, find another friendly Fencer of same or comparable levels and ask them if they'd like to duel.
Here's where it differs from the 'usual' process for PvP dueling.
The Duel rules are as follow:
-No Buffs, either food, entertainer, or doctor buffs. *If both duelers have Powerboost, that is allowed
-No Armor.
-Only Curved Swords or Rykk Bladesallowed, mainly for the sword clashing sounds and added theatric effect. *Substitute with other Fencer weapons, but its funner with real swords.
-Auto-attack Only, no specials at all. *You can use center of being, but it only makes the duel last almost indefinitely.
No, if you want an audience, find a crowd waiting for the shuttles or even in the middle of a cantina. Announce to the crowds that you and a friend are about to put on a Fencer Demonstration or whatever you want to call it, and start the duel.
Now, both opponents will Dodge and parry around the glowing and crashing swords, and it just looks too darn cool to even muck it up with buffs and armor.
Some of the crowd will cheer for you or the other dueler, and it only adds to the feeling.
I suggest all of you 'True' Fencers to try it out. Its a nice refreshing show if you are feeling down about PvP woes
Enjoy

That's a cool idea. One good addition would be to turn off all the chatbars, toolbars, and the radar. It's H on my setup, probably Ctrl-H on the default system. When I get in a cool fight that can go either way, sometimes I'll do that too, if you find the right camera angle it actually looks pretty cinematic.

I say do get buffs though, because then you can do the special attacks, making it even more flashy, but that's just me...

Excellent idea! Always up for enhancing the experience in any way possible. Being that I'm really into roleplaying I tend to do a lot of things more for fun that personal gain, this would be one of those things. Thanks for the great input.
