I just got novice fencer in the past couple days and it is going very slow for me. I found a cave on Lok (where my guild's city is) and there are pirates there. They gave me anywhere between 250 and 860 xp. These were the only things i could take, anything would have killed me. I got about 20k xp in 20 minutes or so....but that wont even get me to one level of of any tree in fencer. I am asking you to leave any tips or strategies you used to get through fencer...thank you!

if you would like to contact me in the game, send a tell or email to Calof. Thanks again!

Tip:

follow these steps:

1. Get a gaffi baton (a good sliced one if possible), stun batons are ok too.

2. Get ubese or low HAM composite armor

3. Get some muon / brandy

4. Get a buff

5. Go to dant. and hunt quankers (very eazy critters) you will get around 3K xp per quanker

6. Want even more xp? do some Huurton missions! (harder but more xp)

7. Repeat until satisfied

There you gobud

Hope it helps!

Its ok if you are a wookiee if you still to mobs like quenkers (normal not savage quenkers and the other higher levels) and Huurtons as they have no ranged attacks so will only hit you for Kinetic damage. Good wookiee armour can get almost 60% kinetic resists so you should be ok (the base resistsaren't great although I'm speaking to a MAS about using looted enhancers to get better base resists.) Also wookiee armour has low HAM costs considering the resists it has making effect slices probably more useful than encumberance.

One tip that the other poster missed is that you should always go up the Footwork line first, this contains the fencer speed bonuses which makes the rest of the tree far easier. At 0200 you can switch from a speed sliced Gaffi to a damage sliced one (The gaffi is a better weapon to use than the Stun baton as it has better damage and lower mind costs.)

Almost master fencer and that is my recipe for success, shouldn't take too long either. I recommend the Huurton Huntresses as well, once you master the Footwork tree.

Thanks for doing the work Windy! Lol.

there is an even easier way. do quenkers and huurtons till u have the speed tree at 4.

then put on an 80% kin resist comp chest plate. get good buffs (dancer & musician buffs too pref), brandy and canapes so your mind and secondaries r high. novice med is helpful too with good stim bs.

get good + intimidate undershirt, bandolier and trousers too.

equip a stun baton

head to dantooine imperial outpost and go to the mokk stronghold POI (hence the baton as some of the mokks have 80% kin resist, only 20% stun)

wipe the stronghold out!!! don't just run in as you'll get swarmed. take em bit by bit. over 5k per kill and they go down quick.

speed tree,
Jinda cave Endor.
1 buff sess = 1 complete tree.

For getting novice I find hermit spiders and sentry hermit spiders to be easy and give good xp without the need to buff.

you know, that's all good and all, but it takes 5 millions years just to make novice, for me anyways.

the jinda cave on Endor is the fastest way to master. Massive xp and no need to wonder around hunting things as there are hunders of the furry little bastads running around. I mastered fencer in4 days there and did not have a huge amount of time to commit. a few long sessions and it could be done in a day or two
