Thread: temporary removing stun damage? rumors?

Ive heard it from a couple of guys in the game. They are going to take all stun damage out for a while due to the armor rewamp. I havent found anything on forums so, is it true? And anyone knows the details?

I seriously doubt it.


Some "rumors with steam" if you will center around taking the ability to make composite armor with stun damage out.


Making it so that Max Resists on Armor are around 50-60 percent.


Tweeking Damage Mitigation in some form (I've not heard much about this)


Taking away the ability to spam specials constantly.


Those are most of the rumors that are being spread most regularly. The corespondant knows for sure what's in store, but he has not been given the green light to let us know what they are.

i think you have it reversed,


My honest feeling is, after the combat rebalance and armor fixes etc. All damage will be like stun damage, difficult to protect against unless you are wearing the right armor for it, if that makes sense.


I think comp will always be comp, and have protection to all..


But Tantel May have More stun protection than composite can possibly make


and Bone make have higher Kinetic protection than comp..


Or something to that effect, not being specific on the armor type just giving examples

well they still need to make it so that there's an uber type of armor and a sucky type of armor. Unfortunately it's the way the armorsmith profession is designed ... you can make the bone armor in artisan, but some comp parts only in master armorsmith. If bone were better than comp in certain circumstances it wouldn't make sense to have the capability to craft the two take vastly different amounts of skill points.

That would completely ruin fencers they rely on stun damage. Unless they took all armor out also.

My uncle's brother's cousin's 4th roommate told me a rumor that if you kill a Janta and the corpse faces the sunrise that you have to say oooga booba 4 times and then you can loot a Juntai mace.


That and they are letting Jedi have pink lightsabers

what i sorta meant to say in my post above was sorta this.


Like right now stun is the really only "hole" in composite armor, the best ive seen is 44% and theoretical cap is 45%. I think the best of the best composite armor will have all of its base like this, if that makes sense lol.All DamageTypes will have this "stun"hole" for the best composite.There will always be better armor and worse armor. Kinetic will always be prevalent for PvE fighting unless that is changed entirely.
