sorry, hard cap means that the mod # will stop rising once it has reached that cap, and soft cap means the # may go higher but you do not get any further bonuses. currently there are no hard caps in the game, so +125 dodge is teh SOFT cap. however you can use pikata pie to enhance the dodge further, but AA's + CA's do not get the normal +25 ontop of the cap when dealing with dodge + counterattack + block , etc.

125 is the hard cap yes ... and u can only go over 125 with SL's and Food and we dont have any food that adds to dodge, only chance to dodge

Yeah Paccy is right...125 Dodge is the Hard Cap for Dodge, Counterattack, and Block...Accuracy is a Soft Cap

Not hard cap soft cap... guys the terminology is as old as EQ... Soft Cap = The numerical value beyond which there is no benifit for gaining (the only thing in SWG) Hard Cap = Numerical Value which cannot be raised beyond. (Which there are none in SWG)
Both equal the same thing effectivly, however both represent themselves very differently... and it creates unnessisary confusion when you interchange terms improperly.

Also i believe that dodge cna only be used from a profession equal to the weapon you are using at the time.
So... A player using a fencer weapon can only have a dodge of 116. That means dodges from different professions dont stack. I thought this was a fix from a year ago when everyone was crying about fencer-pistoleer stacks...

Fencer and Pistoleer Dodge stack, but cap at 125. You would have 125 dodge both as a Pistoleer and as aFencer.

Tell that to the Master Fencer/ Master Pistoleer I dueled yesterday. Couldn't land a DoT on him for all I was worth.
