I became a fencer for the High Dodge and finesse moves. I imagined fence play with rapier style swords. But the fencing profession has turned into Clubbers. Every MF carries gaffi's or stuns. When I run around with a Gaffi in my hand I look like I'm ready to bash in car windows with a crowbar. The stun baton makes me look like an English Constible Reject.

I would like to see some bling with good fencer weaponary.

Good Laugh but VERY valid point.

Even in KOTOR the 1 handed weapons were all swords or vibroblades...

Geez it would be nice walking around with a duel bladed Vibrosword

crowbars are one handed weapons. so are a lot of other random objects.

We fencers are car window smashers. Swords don't seem to do the trick however, so gaffi batons are found practically everywhere.

Not only are they good for smashing windows, but gaffis tend to be powerful and acklay stun batons and gaderiffi batons are, indeed, a lot better in hurting armored pvp'ers with their "swords" and "unarmed" fighting techniques. (swordsmen get named for their ability to use power hammers and unarmed warriors tend to have knucklers, which, as i was accused a while ago, weapons.)

I hope in the combat revamp devs give us swords and name us swordsmen, and name the "swordsmen"....well...I have no idea. And also, call unarmed I-IV teras kasi as well, no one grinds without them.

there are gonna be new weapons in the cu. Ap hopefully, even sick vibroblades arent as good as a simple grinding gaffi
