Thread: Quick question to fencers...
I was thinking about going with the fencer stat... butI have a question...
If 2hand sword does more damage, and you can't put anything in your other hand (can you?), then why be a fencer? You'll always be outdamaged. What is the advantage?
That's my honest question, cause I'm interested in becoming one. Just kind of wanted some details on What it's like, and what you can do. (what goes in the other hand, any advantages, etc...)
Thanks.

Aziz... that was the most useless post I've seen all day.
..... ugh...
it all depends on your playstyle really, do you enjoy fast repetative hits able to move freely without having to wait all day for your sword to get swung or do you like standing there taking blows until your 7.0 attack speed two hander decides its time to attack and you do a whole 20-30 more points of damage
take your pick, me ill go with the first option
Wooko is right, Fencers have speed and finesse beyond any other fighter. while a pikeman or heavy swordsman takes long swings, we dart in and out of battle doing our damage quickly. I'd take a fencer any day in a duel or against any npc.

heh that brings up a good question, which of the higher weapons are more like a katana? i wanna just go with whichever that is. if you think about it katanas are really kinda like a hand and a half sword, or 2h, not really 1h, but most games put em in the 1h category so thats what i was working. Id like to just see some pics of the higher weapons but no webpages have a good selection

"Aziz... that was the most useless post I've seen all day."
Heh. You mean pointing out that most fencer styles do health damage and most 2hd stylesare more oriented to domind is useless?
You might not care for the dialect, but you don't have to be insulting when people try to answer your questions.
