OK I have a couple newb type questions about weapons cause I still have not been able to find the answers. Right now I am using a regular player made sword withthe following stats;

Damage: 22-83

Delay: 4.1

Ideal Range: 3m

Range Mods: 9/9/9

Special Move Costs:

Health - 31

Action - 32

Mind - 31

So here are my questions, for range mods are lower numbers better or higher one? I see lots of weapons with negative numbers and am never sure if they are worse or better. Second how do the costs for special actions work? My swords says its cost is 31, but when I do a lunge it costs me 122 mind points.

Any help for this novice would be appreciated.

attack modifers add to accuracy the first is the minumal range the next is ideal and the last maxium range. For a one handed sword thats 2m 3m and 4m. HAM cost of a move is determined by a series of multiplers. you take the weapon cost multiply it by move cost. The move cost is determined by the move used and your strength or constitution ( can never remeber which) or the equilavent for the pool.Lunge has a very high move cost.

So when you say "add to accuracy" then you want positive hit modifiers and not negative ones since they would in fact my your accuracy worse than better, yes?

correct you want postive modifers.
