Thread: question about multiple opponent attacks
Also, i'm debating on rather or not to be just a marksman, and taking rifle and pistol, the pistol for up close combat. What advantages does fencing have over someone equally skilled with a pistol? Thanks.
Taking on someone with equal skill that has a pistol can be quite a learning experience. They will kite you. They will outlast you. When you have only a sword in your hand, you have to immediately come up with tactics.
The most obvious, lunge+dizzy them if you can. They will fall to the floor for you to hit. The other, to hide around walls and indoor arenas and force them to your court.
I noticed that spin attack is quite good, but it has serious trade-offs as well. I've only seen spin attack hit 3 opponents at once (doing 150-300 per hit per opponent, no less). However it has a bit of a slow cooldown and could eat up your HAM pretty quickly.
I'm not a fencer yet, only apprentice swordsman.
I'm a fencer with a vibroblade, and just today i got mauled by 20-30 selonians on corellia. Obviously i died, but before doing so i used spin attack and hit about 15 of them that were actually in range of it, i hit around 15 selonians all for over 800 damage, one for 1242 damage. i killed many of them before i died.. and yes, i love spin attack. it's absolutely vital
it is a bit slow to recover and takes more from HAM then usual but it is very much worth it for hitting everything around you for massive damage.
