Thread: Speed vs Power

Ok, I fell into a bit of a windfall with my mining operations so I splurged on two identical curved swords, best atm that I've seen. I got them both sliced and got exactly what I wanted, one got attck speed boost (17% I think)and the other got a healthy dmg boost (23%).

Here's the stats:

Lightning:

70-164 2.0

Thunder:

89 - 201 2.4

I've hotkeyed both of them on the same bar and figure I can flip to whichever's the most effective at the time. I was thinking I'd use Lightning to take out swarms ofeveryday animals, that generally takeafewhits, but being able to squeeze in an extra spin move every so oftne could be huge, so I can finish them off sooner and move onto the next. Then I figured I'd switch to Thunder for those tougher 1 on 1 cons and hopefully the the extra dmg will add up and save a round of combat by the end, plus less swings means less ham cost (right now they're like 40/50/30!)

I know speed generally is more lethal, but in this case, with equal orignal models, the dmg % increase was higher, which makes me think that'd be the more effective of the two in one on one combat (please correct me if I'm wrong here). But, maybe, the extra attack I can land every 6 rounds with Lightning cancels out all else. I dunno, just wish I could duel wield these bad boys!

Slightly puzzled, any thoughts?

Thanks,
