I was thinking to make it even in duels for range can't we just have high quickness? LIke for example a fencer with high quick can make lunge come faster and run faster am i right? Because i am a chef fencer right now and i can have about 1300 quickness for 15 mins if i eat my best food soo far. Will that help in a duel with range or do nothing?

quickness doesnt effect speed. only weapon speed and modifers from profession factor in.

Wrong. Quickness, like willpower, strength, or any of the secondary HAM modifiers, do nothing but affect your HAM.

Quickness only affects how much HAM each of your special moves will use up for your Action pool.

The ONLY things that modify your attack speed are your weapon and speed skill modifiers, which is one handed melee speed +# where # is the amount you have ranging from 0 to 100, found under your skills window.

Flux im confused about this stament in the game manual plz explain it. Quickness (Action Drain Rate): Controls how rapidly a player' s actions drain the Action pool. A character with a high Quickness can perform more Action-related special moves or use Action-related abilities (like Burst Running) more often than a character with a low Quickness. If anyone can explain i would be happy thx in advance.

It states that Potliver because higher quickness regen's your action pool faster, and lowers the cost for useing those moves.

HAM = Health Action Mind

Health: the number of hit points you have

Strength:how many ofyour hit points deplete when using special moves and the like

Constitution: how fast you regain those HP naturally over time

Action: the number of action points you have

Quickness: how many ofyour action points deplete when using special moves and the like

Stamina: how fast you regain those AP naturally over time

Mind: the number of mind points you have

Focus: how many ofyourmind points deplete when using special moves and the like

Willpower: how fast you regain those MP naturally over time

Now keep in mind that Strength, Quickness and Focus are not the ONLY things that determine how much HAM you lose when you use a special attack....weapons modify that amount as well as other various factors.
