Fencer Archive

Ok soI got to thinking of something that might give us some more content to the game and came up with the idea of 4 separate Fencer quests and a Master epic quest. These will be optional and no way will make or break a character but will enable us to have a unniqueness about us. So here goes real quick and dirty. I justput this as a rough draft and I'll edit it later with more details...

To start with we have the 4 trees in Fencer. Each one has specific bonuses. Basing this off memory but the first tree to the left is Scatter and Defense bonuses,next comes the Footwork speed bonuses,then Bodyhit and defense against status changes, and finally accuracy.

Well each tree will have it's own Quest of sorts once you reach lv 4 of that branch which will give a special attack or bonus related to that tree.

For example...

Tree #3 bodyhit might end in Fencer Bob facing Fencer Master of the East (or North, South, etc)and successfully defeat him and learn his master style Body hit 4 that inflicts stun/blind/poisen to the enemy.

Tree#2 Would give Fencer Bob a disarming attack or tripping attack to use against his foe.

Tree#4 Would allow mastery over the weapon and allow for dual weilding (this is a good spot to earn this skillI believe because getting all that combat Xp is mega hard!)

Tree#1 New attack that randomly just acted like melee hit might and do mad damage to variuos HAM bar?(note I do not have any of this tree as of yet so i do not know how effective scatter 2 is)

As far as the epic goes Master Fencer Bob gets a +10 or what ever to allbonuses and a Ham reduction of-10% to ham costs of the weapons he weilds- or maybe gains the ability to take thehighest weapons HAM cost and add 10% to that and not get a double whammy for both weapons.Hemaybe gains a whole new style of fenceing including a brand new Epic sword that is not a Light Saber but a sword resembling a rapier but does Energy/Electricity damage and Kenetic damage.

This is all just to throw out an ideaI have more thought out plan with this but I was just giving it to the masses to see what ya guys think about this as a possible addition to the game later on.

interesting idea, though they would have to do this kind of thing for ALL the classes at the same time. I don't think it should be a way to add that much ability, more like giving you a new title/badge.
