I plan to be Master Doctor/Fencer. How bad will a full set of composit hurt me?

I have maxed out my mind with 1200 mind, 600 focus and 500 willpower (thats max it can get no higher for my race) I plan to slice the composit HAM wise but it will still be quite a bit is this going to kill me?

One more question for the Master Fencers please: What level of missions are you able to get at master? Use to you could put a commando weapon in your hand on Tatoonie or any of the normal planets and get real high level missions but they have fixed that now and you can once again only get crappy missions. As Master Fencer do you get high level missions like the commandos and such? I read where there even going to scale down the missions on Endor, Lok and the other high planets and it would be sad if once master I was unable to get any decent missions.

Okay composite isn't really that helpfull... but if you wanna go for it, just don't wear the helmet, it hits your mind too much.

All advanced profession masters are level 25. Because you can only have one weapon out at a time, you can't excede level 25. (BH might behigher, im not sure). A level 25 person can get misions above level 25, im just saying that your level is 25. Grouping and going to advanced planets helps you get missions higher than your level by a significant bit.

My brother is a Master CH and he can only get level 15 missions so I just wanted to make sure Fencers were ranked right and not broke.

Can you please recommend what type of armor I need to be getting then? I will only be doing PVE at this point but I fight both NPC's and Creatures.

Thanks again for the help/advice.

I'd recommend a combination of Mabari Armorweave (layered for energy resist, should work soon) and Tantel armor. Both are very light on the HAM penalties and will protect from the2 most common damage types (energy and kinetic) if made by a good armorsmith.

The cool thing about Tantel is that you can make it with 0 vulnerabilities. Unfortunately you're limited to boots, chest and helmet pieces only.

You are further limited if you are not human/zabrak as you cannot wear the tantel helm.

The mission levels have been covered, but i have a different opinion on armor. good chittin, ubese, or tantel will be helpful, but i would definitely hunt down a top quality armorsmith that makes the absolute best composite. My reasoning is that you're working on Doctor, and one thing that doctors do is Buff up your heath and action pools significantly. A master doctor can put your Hp and Action up near 3k or maybe better. That will allow you to use composite whenever you want. But, until you get to that point, i'd still suggest the armors those above have suggested. Just my opinion so take it for what its worth.

I use a composite Helm and it does wonders. It has 60% protect. Bounces alot of headshot dmg that I seem to take heavily in PvP. I almost always mind incapped and this has saved me many times since I have started using it.

I however, do not wear a full set of composit. I stop at the helm. I just hotkey it for removal between fights so my mind pool can fill back up ad a decent click.

BTW 1200 mind is insane. That is double mine. I think a composit helm would work wonders. Try combat with and without one. You will notice a big difference.

Before patch I wore complete composite, and before specials I took helm off, It helped deals.. Now after patch, I actually take LESS damage with the composite off.

cause armor dont work no more... But I wear a chest plate, a helm, bracers and boots, along with a PSG, and it helps wonders. Of course, not with the specials, but dont wear armor all the time, any armor will just not be helpful when using specials. But a high resistance helm helps alot in pvp and against head shots, it cuts the damage 1/3 with my 78% (mind emb. is 303 though...) helm...

Just a small note. I am a master sniper and almost have master footwork one handed completed. I wear a full suit of advanced composite and i am in love with the protection it provides....and a rifleman needs all the mental he can get because his best shots are from the mind pool...the armor doesn't seem to hurt a bit. But it IS advanced composite that was sliced by a master smuggler. That's all. It works for me, it might not work for you. thx
