Just like the title says, i know a lot of these are busted for other professions. How about fencer. What tapes are the ones to go after and what tapes should you not bother because once at master your capped anyway?

Any input please?

What are "tapes?" If you don't mind explaining.

SEAs or skill enhancing attatchments.

I dont know if you can still find it tehre but on the lowca server forum, someone had a nice list of what was working and what wasnt so look around there. Sure, I could look for you and tell you where exactly but Im lazy and your the one that needs to know. so...

Skill tapes can be found for Dodge, one-handed accuracy, one-handed speed and one-handed melee damage. You can also get attachments for one-handed counterattack and one-handed evasion, these mods were removed during beta but skill attachments for them still appear on the loot table. A good post on skill attachments can be found here

Also keep in mind that tapes don't stack with the same mods. I made this mistake yesterday after shelling out 150k for a +6 and +5 one handed weapon speed increasing armor plates. I popped the +6 in and then the +5 and to my dismay, the armor piece only said +6. I know Thunderheart discussed this before, and I smacked my head when I saw the mod...urrrghh.. so thought I would pass along the knowledge just in case.

Does the one-hand melee damage work or not? Some say they don't other say it works. What is true?

From my understanding, it only works on skils tht already exist on your character. For example, if you dont have CH then creature taming wont work so in light of that there is no one hand damage mod Id say no.

I can tell you most of these are from beta skill mods that never made it out of beta.

Can you stack attachment if they are on different pieces of clothing or armor? i.e. if I put a Def vs. KD +5 on my boots and a Def vs. KD +5 on my helmet will it = +10??

You can stack up to +25. Anything beyond 25 will display but will not be counted.
