What have you heard? It is a pretty lame state of affairs when you use what is available to make a weapon, then the screams start Nerf fencers! Why can't they wait until the combat revamp or just fix the fuc*ing bone problem. I am so sick of hearing about nerfs when a CM can take multiple people down, a rifleman is so overpowered it is not even funny but lets nerf fencers.

We will be staying as is.
The Min>max bone problem will get fixed... Not sure on the other bones though.

Thunderheart said at E3 that everything would be brought down in scale, and armor would be toned down.
I know some people have been saying that the jedi robes would top off at medium armor with high resists, but what TH said was that jedi robes would be at about where composite armor is now.
I've heard no other details, but I would guess that if the high-end jedi robe will be where really common composite armor is now, then I imagine armor will be toned down a great deal, and an instance of a high damage weapon in any particular damage type will not be so significant.
I think if fencers need any nerfs, it's only those nerfs that impact the entire player base-- armor, buffs, etc. Ideally, if these are scaled down across the board, I think the other classes won't feel as outclassed by those that do stun damage, and all classes, fencer included, would have to weigh costs/benefits of things like having high defense, dealing high damage, etc.

My main concern is this - If armor gets toned down, as does our weapons, then the MOBS need to have their attacks toned down as well.
My greatest fear with the combat rebalance is that suddenly, kreetles and gnorts will be today's Jantas, and that Spats, Kaduu, and Banthas will be today's krayts, with all of us barely able to scratch anything except each other....l

The (sad, good, impartial? I dont know) news is, the mobs WERE nerfed in a big way back in December @ the start of the so-called "Combat Balance... *cough*CH NERF*cough* Many, many MOBS lost armor and resistances were "adjusted," uniformly down.

Actually he said the Jedi robes will have similar defences to top end armour, so it will be at about where composite armour will be after the combat revamp, not where it is now.

Okay, I see that now, I must have misread that. I'm not sure where I read that the jedi robes would be higher than top of the line armor for regular players (it might have been in a controversial jedi vs. fencer post that was deleted), but I suppose TH's statement contradicts it, and is certainly more recent. In any event, I hope I'm not reading too optimistically when he says everything will be scaled down. Here is that quote, from a Q&A at E3 that was posted at SW Vault:
Will Jedi Robes be comparable to 90% composite armor?
- During the combat revamp, mostly everything will be brought down in scale, and 90% comp armor will also be toned down. Jedi robes will be comparable to the "new" high end comp armor.
