it will soon be crap. they are changing it so it takes 3 second for you to be able to change a weapon. in those 3 seconds you get owned by your oponent.

Unless I was bugged, I had the delay in switching weapons on TC-Corbantis.. that would mean this change would be going live with publish 9

DOT weapons for fencer are rarer then DOT weapons for polearm, but not as common as DOT weapons for tk or swordsman.... I probably wouldn't pay more then 200-300k... but it totally depends on the person and a little on the server...

Although that being said, mind poison janta knifes are QUITE common for fencers... and really those never go for over 100k on my server unless the person doesn't have a clue...

Sounds like I'll have a reason to put warcry back on my toolbar.

It'd probably go for 2-3 million on Intrepid. Mind fire is coveted more than anything else in the game at the moment. It's very rare to find anything over 200 strength, and usually if you do it has poor potency so you can never get it to stick. You found a great, great weapon. Has the great power, has decent potency so it'll stick without a million tries, and has a lot of charges. Auction it on your trade forums if you're not staying fencer or use it to put the pain on folks in duels. Did I mention that's a GREAT find? Hehe, lucky **edit**.

Come the combat revamp, if things turn out the way they are planned now, it will not be useful, but who knows how long that'll be.

Ok, now lets pretend for a moment that the DoT looks like this:

DoT
Action - Poison
Str 138

Potency 73.8%
Duration 131
Charges 7-8k

Then what would you pay for it?

I'm sorry, not too much. Action is, at the moment at least, easily healable. It might sell for 50-100k though if you're looking to sell. Any poison is nice to stick because it forces the person to deal with it by using a turn to stim, but mind is where the payload is at currently.

When you are switching your weapons in combat, does it make you unarmed for those 3 seconds or do you just stand there with the wep you already had equiped, and keeping your defense?

You keep your weapon you had first, then change over, but the problem is once you land the dot your still going to be hitting with your crappy damage dot wep for 3 more sec.

Dont' worry about the 3 second thing everybody is complaining about, it takes ten seconds for a DOT to tick in the first place. Three seconds is the fastest that a medic uses a Stim and that doesn't slow you down too much. It'll just make you plan a bit better... Now you'll have to apply the DOT, warcry (twice cuz the graphics look cool :smileyhappy then switch to your regular batton. Even if you don't like the warcry graphics, most DOT weapons require a couple hits before the DOT sticks anyway so that 3 second delay will probably make it stick so start with your DOT weapon and swith it right away, hopefully your next two shots during the delay will allow it to stick.

Nice find
