Thread: just to confirm (dodge skill mod)

i've had people tell me that the dodge skill mod stillimproves dodgingwith other weapons, and i've had people tell me only with 1h/pistol.

so which is it? and are counterattack/block the same situation?

you can cap dogde at 125 with master fencer and some pistoleer skills ( first tree of pistoleer forgot the name)

i think you misunderstood me.


i'm asking if getting +whatever skill mod in dodge makes you dodge better using weapons other than one handed and pistol.

i've heard lots of people say it only works with 1h/pistol, but ive heard others say that it does indeed work across professions.

Dodge only works with either a pistol or a one-handed weapons equipped, just as Block is only rifles and pikes, and counterattack only carbines and two-handed swords. The only way to increase your chance to dodge which carrying something other than a pistol/sword is to take a dodge enhancing Chef food, these work for anyone.

FYI CoB increases our dodge twofold I believe thats what makes Fencers so hard to hit, you will still dodge no matter what weapon you have equipped if I am not mistaken but CoB dodge only works when a 1 hand weapon is equipped
