Sorry for the newb question.

Currently working on Rifleman / Fencer.

WIll the + Dodge , and Melee Damage Mitigation skills i learn while fencing still work while i'm using a rifle and my rifleman skills?

I realize that obvious skills , like Center of Being , and 1 handed weapon speed won't cross over , but what about the "generic " skills that multiple classes get? Dodge , Defense Vs. Dizzy , etc etc......

Loving the fencer class though , definate change of pace from "go prone" , "shoot" "shoot" RUN RUN RUN RUN

why? because pistols are one handed? and rifles are 2?

To answer your questions:

No, the dodge bonuses you get from fencer will not work while holding a rifle....vice versa...the block bonuses you get from rifleman will not work while holding a baton or sword.

Yes, Melee Damage Mitigation 3 and Ranged Damage Mitigation 3 will work whenusing both classes.

Yes, Defense vs xxx will work whenusing both classes as well.

Why are some crossed over , and others aren't ?

If you want your block rate to go up (that is what rifle is) then pick up some polearm.

rifle/polearm = block, pistol/fencer = dodge and carbine/2h is counter attack. For a while people where ca with the rifle out, but not sure if the fixxed that.
