I haven't been in a combat profession in a while and am considering going back to TKM, or trying master fencer or swordsman. I'm on the path to Jedi and kinda wanted to have fencer so I could keep the defense skills to protect me. However, I dont wanna play with fencer if I cant kill certain mobs I used to enjoy hunting.

Can a master fencer (novice brawler, nothing else stacked) solo a giant dune Kimo ? I could easily as a TKM. Can a master fencer solo a nightsister elder ? I hear master swordsman can. I played with fencer a long time ago and came away remembering that it didnt seem to hit mobs that hard and the stun batons stunk for PvE.

I took a giant dune kimola last nite solo using fencer using a gaffi stick with health fire and a gaffi with 350 max damage, BUT had to keep jumping on my bike, riding clear and using tk skills to meditate all the poison and disease off before heading back in. Was hitting it for just over 2k damage.

If memory serves tkm and fencer cant touch an NS elder, i think you need blast for them

Elders and abovehave lowenergy and blast resists. The stuff below them has low blast and kinetic resists but are much more common.

Can a fencer solo high level stuff? Some yes but mostly no. Take a look at how much damage you do to a Sith thug. Anything with medium armor is generally something that will take a long long long time for a fencer to do....and we hate it.
