Is the thought of a Wookie Fencer too far out there?

Not really as a class/race concept, but more because they lack using any kind of actual armor. Would this just completely kill their ability to stand up and take melee hits like a Melee character is required to?

I don't wear armor, and I do fine. I think you would be fine, but I never played a wookie fencer.

I play a Zabrak fencer and I do fine without armour, so I suspect a Wookie will be just as good.

I am a wookie fencer, we are fine. I stat migrated to even across the board to make up for things. Even across the board is better if oyu have a medic who can heal you. Remeber in a long battle, mind is the only limiting factor!
