I am Teras Kasi and I really hope this isn't one of those "I got owned so nerf such and such".

TK's are facing there own issues at the moment especially when it comes to surviving a battle against a ranged opponent. This is the very same issue that afflicts all melee classes. Yet, despite our commonalities there is alot of "Nerf TK's" garbage going around on the other Melee boards. TK's have already been nerfed...TWICE and most of the threads i have seen were someone was beaten by a TK was because they SHOULD have been beaten.

Before crying for a nerf, post your exact Stats/Level and screen shots of the battle. It is quite possible and rational that you were legitimately beaten by a skilled opponent.

In the end, one class crying for a nerf to another class helps no one and only hurts yourself. Think about that the next time your in the heat of battle and your TK buddy, who has your back, just got 1 shot dropped because his own brothers in melee called down the nerf bat 1 too many times.

Anyway, I sincerely apologize to the author of this thread if his/her intentions were for an honest discussion on strategies for dueling a TK rather than crying nerf.

I think you got the wrong idea, he isn't crying nerf, he's just posting bout him getting his *$$ handed to him by a Tera Kasi.

I fought a Tera Kasi Master the other day, and got incapited before I even swung my sword, and he used no special moves or not even a weapon.

Well gentleman it sounds as if you need to train in some other combat areas then.

I battled a TKA the other night, 3 duals

1st He got first hit in knockdown and killed in one hit.

2nd He got first hit in knockdown and killed in one hit

i ask him what lvl TKA he is and he reply's master, well i dont have the first tier completed yet.

3rd I get first hit in Knockdown dizzy, ( he falls YAY ) bleed and meleehit2 (800dmg Health)
he stands knockdown one hit kills me in mind this time.

I dare say if i had used lunge again and dizzy after the bleed i MAY have been able to pull out a win on the third dual. ( He missed his intial lunge on third dual. )

But he did die from the bleed after the dual was over So in short no TKA are not Invincible, they are good though. But unfortunatly the system of PvP atm is first hit wins if evenly matched. With the coming patch though, melee tactics will come into play alot.

Lol..yeah after reading this post I decided to see how I fared against a master TKA.

We fought for the best 2 out of 3, and he won 2-1. He actually said I was the best swordsman that he ever fought-(i neglected to tell him that I also was a TKA expert).



He went on to say that he was going to pick up "2 hand swordsman too", because he didnt realize how good they were. :-)


also it should be noted that someone healed him in that last fight...O well, no one died.
