...Master Combat Medic

Not sure how I feel about that.

I'm currently Master CH, 4/0/4/0 Ranger, 0/1/4/2 Pistoleer, 0/4/0/3 Marksman and Master Scout (pre req for Ranger).

To master CM, I'd have to master two entire professions, medic and combat medic. I haven't seen many CM's so I don't know how hard it is to climb that tree. I dabbles a bit in medic in beta and have an idea of how it works but I don't know if it's worth giving up most of my professions to get there. I "think" I could keep CH but what good is a CH/CM combo? Just not sure it's worth it, and since I don't have 3,4,5 holo's like some people, I wouldn't even be able to kill anything to get them. Plus, you have to factor in all the other stuff on the Jedi Checklist that no one even knows. I'm sure there has to be more then just mastering a few certain professions.

The whole "end game" in SWG seems to be becoming a Jedi. If you got a holo that told you to master something that you weren't really interested in, would you do it anyway? Knowing full well there is still no guarantee you'd ever get the Jedi slot?

Any thoughts, advice, comments appreciated.

I was ex BH as well as 3300 on the CH tree and 0044on pistoleer when my first holo said combat med. I did it in under 4 days.

Easy when you have lots of money to buy good woundpacks, and grind qualityresources. So save up a couple 100 thousand and go for it.

Heh. Your profession is the one I'm looking to do. (I'm a BH 0/2/4/0. I want Combat Medic or Doc from my Holo, but dont have a Holo lol.) Combat Medic really ISNT that hard. As long as you have Ranged Support, I could probably master it in about a week or less if I tried and had the help I needed.

Thats what my first holo told me..... Its easy as **edit** the healing part...

Get 2 friends with at least Ranged Support 2

Have them make a looping macro to do "/tumbletostand" and have them go afk, get pharm 4, and just heal the **edit** out of them. Buy stimD's it took me about 30 stimpacks of STIM d's to do it for me both medic and combat medic.

Best place to do this is theed outside med center since combat medic trainer right inside. Just heal them over and over.

That will cover the 4 4 0 4.

The 0, is going to be boring as **edit**, gotta grind like bio effect controllers or something. That is the longest part.

Also i recommend buying a +10 healing jacket and pants, and an R2 droid with medical capabilities so you can constantly heal people (ie starport while waiting).

I also hired people to burn their pets health ham wounds all the waydown, a graul will give over 30k med xp per full ham health wound.

This game has been out 4 1/2 months now. That's nothing in the life of an MMORPG. It's not like you can't go back to that character later and rebuild him (and probably in 80% less time, since now you know what you're doing). If you did get an FS slot, would you ever play that character again? Do you want to be a constant PvP character? Seriously ask yourself this one.

I don't do the PvP stuff anyway. Just not my thing. It seems Combat Medic is more of a PvP class tho. How I wish it had said Doctor instead of CM lol.

Master Dancer... CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT **edit**? I'm not dropping Fencer though, NO WAY IN HELL, parts of ch and maybe parts of Fencer but NO MORE then 2/2/2/2 on fencer.

I would drop the ch and scout skills since they are fairly easy to get back. And with the mounts in game now terrain negation is not as important as it used to be. But what ever you do Keep the fencing.
